Still tired from the night before we dragged ourselves to the Airbnb. We had a nice lye down and then wondered into the city. We saw the accident arena where we could hear Earth, Wind and Fire playing. Then we wondered to the cathedral. After this we went to Juliet’s balcony and then grabbed some gelato. I don’t understand the Juliet’s balcony. Supposedly it inspired Shakespeare but also he never went to Verona so I haven’t a clue really. Also there’s a statue of Juliet that supposedly brings luck in love if u rub her right breast. I doubt this is real and more likely some pervert just came up with it (she is a child after all).

In the evening we grabbed some food and made a nice pasta dish. Briefly we chatted to the other Airbnb guests – some girls from Israel. Then we had an early night in preparation for big travels the next day.
Verona is a very pretty city. I liked it a lot. The girl at the winery in Tuscany told us it was a very romantic city. I’m glad I got to experience it with Lawrence. This was well evidenced when we went to a park and we were surrounded by couples on all sides. Made for a funny scene for us at least.
