A reunion in Ljubljana with Chris led to us four making the journey out to Lake Bohinj. We arrived, dropped our bags and jumped in the lake. We then had a calm evening relaxing in the hostel garden and chatting. Lovely time had by all.
Day after we rented a paddle board but only had an hour or so before the rain and thunder started. We wondered into the town, got a coffee and went back to the hostel. We all had a bit of time to ourselves by the lake before dinner which was followed by a few beers.
In the morning the weather still hadn’t cleared up but we headed over to Lake Bled. It was too cold to swim really but we dipped our feet in so at least I can say I’ve been in it.
Overall it was a few uneventful days really but enjoyable anyway. It was nice to have a bit of time to recharge. It’s a shame the weather wasn’t better though.
