After a saying goodbye to the family I headed to London for lunch with Sophie. A nice farewell meal to say good luck in Tokyo for next year. Through pulling our Tesco Clubcard points we managed to get all our food for just 10p!
Once I arrived I navigated the metro to my Airbnb where Maddie and Eva greeted me at the gate. We then headed to the shop where my poor grade in GCSE French failed me and I accidentally bought a bolognaise sauce with beef and pork (French for pork is ‘porc’) for dinner. Chris sorted me nicely with the same meal minus the sauce. A lovely bowl of spaghetti with sautéed mushrooms and peppers.
We then headed to Eiffel Tower for sunset and viewed it sparkling. After walking around the area for a few hours we headed home. My sleep was difficult on account on the heat and locals huffing nos at 5am outside my window.
In the morning we got up, slightly tired still, and went for a trek round the city. We saw the Louvre, Notre Dam and the Arc de Triumph. We then headed back to our Airbnb to pack up and run for our next train to Munich.
